School Holiday Program

Our school holiday programs are a big hit! For students in Prep to Grade 4, participants enjoy a range of dance classes, arts and crafts, movie and the all-time favourite - disco!


DATES

  • Our upcoming Holiday Program will be held on Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th April 2024.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Simply book in for the number of days (or half days) you would like your child to attend.

  • Our holiday programs are open to all children so you do not need to be a current Dance Habit family to book.

BOOKINGS

  • Book in by signing up (or signing in) to our Parent Portal.

  • Once you’re logged in, navigate to Current Events and follow the prompts to register.

  • Contact us if you need assistance with the booking system.

HALF DAY PRICE (9AM - 12.30PM)

  • $50.00 per day

FULL DAY PRICE (9AM - 3.15PM)

  • $75.00 per day

  • Book all three days and receive a $20 credit to your account for use toward Dance Habit Membership fees.

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Students should wear comfortable clothing that they can move easily in.

  • We recommend leggings and a singlet or tee-shirt because skirts and dresses are not suitable for all dance styles.

  • If your child has dance shoes, they may wear them for the correct classes (e.g. ballet, jazz, tap). Sneakers are best for hip hop.

  • Please bring socks and a warm jumper to wear during non-movement sessions.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday 9th April

  • Welcome > warm up > Acro > morning tea > Improvisation/Dance Games > Musical Theatre > End of half day or lunch > Arts, crafts and Yoga > Performance for parents and caregivers.

Wednesday 10th April

  • Welcome > warm up > Ballet > morning tea > Lyrical > Hip Hop > End of half day or lunch > Movie > Performance for parents and caregivers.

Thursday 11th April

  • Welcome > warm up > Jazz > morning tea > Contemporary > Tap > End of half day or lunch > Disco Party > Performance for parents and caregivers.

SOME IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

  • Holiday Program is subject to minimum enrolment numbers.

  • The schedule is subject to change.

  • Students must bring their own snacks, lunch and water (strictly no nuts).

  • No refunds are permitted, but a credit may be supplied for non-attendance due to illness (medical certificate required).
