Junior Kids
Dance is a universal language that connects communities, promotes wellbeing, encourages expression, and develops positive neural pathways.
Human beings have been dancing since the beginning of time and children have an innate predisposition to move rhythmically in response to music.
Through dance, we teach important life skills that lay the foundation to build a successful future, and most importantly, it’s fun!
Our dance classes are a fantastic way for junior children to develop confidence, self-awareness and coordination while making friends and learning new skills in a fun and nurturing environment. Our studio values of Kindness, Inclusion, Empowerment and Growth are at the forefront of everything we do.
Membership Options
Because habits aren’t casual
How does it work?
It is our professional recommendation that Prep to Grade 2 (Junior) students attend either one or two classes per week, so these are the membership options we offer.
Families wanting to do more than two classes should contact us to discuss options.
It’s simple and cost-effective for families.
Our annual calendar is jam-packed with exciting opportunities for preschool students, so in order to get the full Dance Habit experience, we strongly recommend an annual commitment.

Please visit our friends at Energetiks in Essendon, Bloch in Moonee Ponds or Dancewear Nation in Williamstown. They know all of our uniform requirements and will happily get you fitted and ready for class.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Dance Fundamentals students are welcome to wear whatever colour they like for classes, however, appropriate dance attire is a must. A leotard and tights or singlet and leggings is required. Dresses and skirts are not appropriate for this class.
All Dance Fundamentals students must wear tan-coloured jazz shoes (note this has been our new colour since 2019). Please have your child fitted for jazz shoes by a dancewear specialist. Ill-fitting shoes can damage a dancer’s feet and cause postural and other body-related issues. Jazz shoes should fit like a glove. Ordering online is not recommended.
Please ensure clothing allows full range of movement with no distractions (e.g. no costumes or jewellery).
