Concert season is magical and the most anticipated and rewarding event of the year for all dancers.
It fosters team work and commitment, and it gives students an opportunity to work together toward a shared goal. Not to mention it's heaps of fun dancing in a professional theatre for a supportive audience.
We hope you will join us for this exciting event!
SHOW THEME: GAME-ON!
A group of friends are having a sleepover party. Throughout the night, they will play a lot of games and in doing so, they’ll get immersed/lost in them. As the night progresses and the different games are played, they will get eliminated. At the end of the night they will all be reunited, not sure if all they went through was real or a dream. Think JUMANJI meets Alice in Wonderland.
VENUE
The dress rehearsal and concert is held at the Clocktower Centre, 750 Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds.
FIRST UP – REGISTRATION!
All students currently enrolled in classes MUST complete a Concert Registration Form.
This includes students opting out for any reason.
All forms are due no later than Sunday 4 August.
Students enrolling after this date can complete the form on enrolment.
CONCERT DATES
Thursday 31 October
Dress Rehearsal at the Clocktower Centre
Please note that Thursday 31 October is the only additional day we have at the venue for rehearsals with students. Due to time limitations, we need to start early.
Your child may be required at the Clocktower Centre as early as 1.00pm on Thursday 31 October, which means an early finish for school on this day. This won't be necessary for all students, but please ensure you are able to make this work, if required.

FAQ
-
We have a strict ‘no push’ policy, which means students who are hesitant on the day are encouraged to watch from backstage in the care of one of our team. We will never push a child to go on stage if they are feeling anxious. It is important to remember that the concert experience is not just about those few minutes on stage. As a parent, it is easy to get caught up in this and of course we understand it can be disappointing if your child doesn’t make it on stage, but we encourage you to see it from your child’s perspective. Students gain so much from being part of the concert experience – the hype in the lead up, getting dressed up in a costume, seeing the theatre and backstage areas (likely for the first time ever) and feeling the excitement and joy during the event itself.
Our relaxed and student-led approach means it is rare that children don’t make it on stage, but we still ensure a positive experience regardless – and they come back more confident and 100% ready the following year! It’s important to focus on the long-term goals, not specifically the one day.
-
If a performer is sick on the day and unable to attend, the $30 videography fee will be refunded upon provision of a Medical Certificate.
All other concert fees are strictly non-refundable.
