Preschool Midyear Performance

We are super excited to be holding a low key Midyear Performance for our Preschool students this May!

All Preschool students (with the exception of Move with Me) are invited to perform.

This is a great opportunity for our youngest students to share with mums, dads, grandparents and loved ones what they’ve been learning in classes – and to build confidence performing as we get ready for our end-of-year concert on stage in Term 3

This performance is intentionally low key – no costumes or tickets and we all sit on the floor! There will be some seating for grandparents and those that need chairs but if you are able, please bring a cushion to sit on. As we have a large number of Preschool students, we are splitting the performance into three groups. This is to make for a smaller audience for our dancers and a shorter event for our families with young siblings.

Children may wear their usual class attire for the performance or they might like to dress up for the day – please ensure they have full range of movement in their clothing of choice and that hair is tied back neatly off the face. Runners may be worn for Hip Hop and Ballet or Jazz shoes for all other classes. Children who do not have dance shoes will need to dance in bare feet.

Note that this year, following your feedback, we will not be restricting the use of cameras for this performance. Please give this consideration prior to the event and let us know if you have any concerns. Note that photos will be taken for our social media too.

Please check carefully to find your child’s class below then diarise their time. Please be on time as we will be running on a tight schedule on the day and cannot wait for late arrivals.
